Giovannone will be offering a cooking
class featuring Tuscan and Italian specialities for interested persons
accompanying painters to the landscape Fundamentals workshops.

The course will consist of 6
half day sessions with Giovanna and Suzy, natives of Pienza and Florence
respectively, and previous owners of the “Pane e Vino” restaurant in
Montalcino. Participants
can expect a combination of demonstration and hands on experience.
The class will be held at an 11th century
abbey hidden in the hills outside Montalcino.
The abbey is approximately 1 kilometer (1/2 mile) from the
accommodation and painting workshop base in Montalcino and 6 kilometers
from the Buonconvento location.
Participants will lodge, dine
and participate in field trips (Siena and Montalcino) with painters.
Car rental is strongly suggested to enable participants to tour
during free sessions each day.
Fees
include cooking class, accommodation, breakfast, 4 lunches, dinner,
museum visit to Siena.
